Covid Patient Advice Line supports 1,485 local patient enquiries

To respond to the needs of local patients at the start of the Coronavirus pandemic, and to support local GP practices, NHS Halton Clinical Commissioning Group and NHS Warrington Clinical Commissioning Group set up a COVID patient advice telephone line and email address.

 

As restrictions ease, the dedicated COVID Patient Advice Line has now transferred back to the CCG Patient Advice & Liaison Service (PALS). Anyone requiring support or advice can contact the PALS service via the freephone number: 0800 218 2333 or email mlcsu.customercarelancashire@nhs.net.

 

Here, we look back on how the dedicated COVID telephone support line and email address helped local patients with 1,485 enquiries over a nine week period.
